Fake “sarkari naukri” PDFs and WhatsApp forwards are common. Use this checklist before you pay a fee or share documents.

1. Prefer official domains

  • Central boards usually end with .gov.in or .nic.in (for example ssc.gov.in, upsc.gov.in, ibps.in for IBPS).
  • State commissions use their own .gov.in portals — not random blogs or shortened links.

2. Cross-check the advertisement number

  • Open the PDF only from the board’s “Notifications / Careers” page.
  • Match Advt. No., post name, vacancies and last date with what you saw on social media.
  • If a forward asks you to pay via UPI to a personal number — treat it as fraud.

3. Application fees

  • Fees are paid only inside the official online form / payment gateway.
  • Keep the UTR / receipt. Never share OTPs for “verification”.

4. Admit cards & results

  • Download hall tickets only after logging into the official portal.
  • Results / merit PDFs should match the board’s press note or result module.
