- ✓Mining: For Manager Post E2 : Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mining Engineering.; For Senior Manager E4: First Class Mine Manager Certificate (Unrestricted) is also required.
- ✓Geology: Master Degree (M.Sc.) in Geology or Applied Geology.
- ✓Environment Management: Bachelor Degree BE / B.Tech Degree in Environmental Engineering / Technology OR Engineering Degree with PG Degree / Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or Environmental Science.
- ✓Safety & Fire Services: BE / B.Tech Engineering Degree with PG Degree / Diploma in Safety Engineering Management OR B.Tech in Safety Engineering / Fire Engineering.
- ✓Concentrator (Mineral Processing): B.E./B.Tech in Mineral Engineering or Mineral & Metallurgical Engineering.
- ✓Electrical: Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering.
- ✓Instrumentation: Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
- ✓Mechanical: B.E./B.Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mining Machinery Engineering.
- ✓Civil: B.E./B.Tech Degree in Civil Engineering.
- ✓Systems: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering / Information Technology OR MCA Degree.
